Pregame at bartaco
The day started with a shared meal at bartaco, where the group ate together, played lawn games, picked up bartaco swag and made their own game day signs. The excitement started long before we reached the arena.
Activation Recap · Miami, FL
On Friday, July 31, Do Good Nation brought 75 Miami-Dade youth to a BIG3 basketball game and built the entire day around them, from the pregame meal to the final autograph. For most of them, it was their first professional basketball game.
Miami was our first activation outside our pilot market in Dallas, and it was made possible entirely by partners who showed up for their community.
Miami By The Numbers
How the day went
The day started with a shared meal at bartaco, where the group ate together, played lawn games, picked up bartaco swag and made their own game day signs. The excitement started long before we reached the arena.
We headed to Amerant Bank Arena together for premium seats in The Impact Section, in matching Do Good Nation gear, holding the signs they had just made. By tipoff the section was the loudest block in the building.
After the final buzzer, the kids met BIG3 players, the kind of moment that turns a game into something they carry with them.
The Signs
Before the arena, every kid designed their own sign. It gave them a chance to get creative, express themselves and build excitement together, and it made the walk into the building feel like it belonged to them.
By tipoff, The Impact Section wasn't just full of fans. It was full of kids proudly cheering with signs they made themselves. Thank you to Project Art Box, King Saladeen and The Art Concierge for recognizing the power of art to build confidence and self expression.
From The Day

Made Possible By
Miami happened because a group of brands, restaurants, artists and youth organizations decided this was worth doing. Together they covered tickets, transportation, meals, art activities and fan gear, so the entire day was free for participating families.
BIG3 was our lead sports partner, and YouthFit brought the group. Want your brand on this list next time? Get in touch.
What's Next
Everyone deserves the chance to experience the magic of live sports. Miami proved what happens when sports, community and access come together, and we're taking that model to more cities.
100% of donations go directly toward creating these days for the youth we serve: transportation, meals, tickets, fan gear, hands on activities and real access to athletes and mentors.
